The Fort Wayne Community Schools Northwood Middle School – Kitchen Renovation consisted of 3,432 square feet of newly renovated space. The removal of a minimally used stage and theatrical lighting system provided the opportunity to improve the overall use of the space. With the removal of the back stage wall, three (3) new overhead security grilles open up the space and allow good lines of sight. The new kitchen equipment and updated finishes offer a modern impression. The new layout also allows for improved flow through the serving lines and no longer requires students to travel through only one door to enter the space. The renovation also updated all ceiling finishes throughout the entire cafeteria.
