Demolish Various Buildings
The Demolish Various Buildings project for the Battle Creek V.A. Medical Center includes the demolition of buildings 16, 17, 18, 51, 77, 97, 154, 155, 163, and the incinerator within building 3. Buildings included in this project are no longer in use by the V.A. Medical Center. Abatement of known hazardous materials such as asbestos and lead-based paints are to be addressed as part of this project. After demolition of existing buildings is complete, the affected area will be backfilled and compacted as required, and top soil and seeding will be specified to create an open grass throughout the campus.
