The Renovate CSR Building 9 project at Richard L. Roudebush V.A. Medical Center included providing drawings and specifications for the renovations to show the removal of walls, floors, and ceilings. Project scope also included the abatement of asbestos and lead-based paint. A new elevator, as well as structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and OI&T computer / phone systems were installed. The need for a new, stand-alone fire alarm and sprinklers and ADA lift to the first floor entrance was addressed. Restrooms within the building were renovated to accommodate the occupancy load, and showers and tubs were removed. One (1) of the existing kitchen spaces was removed, and the other was renovated into a breakroom.
